I started Sullivan Services when I was 16, naming it after my grandpa to keep his legacy going strong. Growing up around here, I know Kinston and what these yards need. If you drive down Queen Street past all those beautiful older homes with established lots, you see exactly why landscaping matters so much in this town. Those big oaks and mature plantings need regular attention, and the clay heavy soil around here can make drainage a real headache for homeowners trying to keep their lawns healthy. That stretch alone keeps us busy year round helping folks maintain what they have and transform what they want to change.

We handle landscaping for everything from new plantings to complete yard overhauls, and the older neighborhoods near Grainger Stadium always have interesting projects with their mix of shade and sun. Hardscaping is huge for us, especially building patios and walkways that hold up to the wet seasons we get here. Our concrete work shows up all over town, and those homes along Vernon Avenue with their longer driveways keep us pouring regularly. Tree work and tree trimming stay constant because Kinston has so many large pines and hardwoods that drop limbs after every storm that rolls through Lenoir County. Christmas lights installation lets families actually enjoy their holidays instead of wrestling with tangled strands in the cold. Pressure washing brings siding and driveways back to life, particularly needed where red clay stains everything it touches. Soft washing handles the mold and mildew that builds up fast in our humid summers, something every house on the shady side of Pearson Park deals with eventually.

Kinston folks have been calling us because we actually answer the phone and show up when we say we will. This town has seen businesses come and go, but we stick around because we live here and our reputation matters to us personally. People recognize our trucks near the Neuse River or grabbing lunch at King's BBQ, and that accountability makes a difference. We know the permit process at Kinston city hall, we know which neighborhoods flood after heavy rain, and we know the soil conditions block by block. If your property sits outside Kinston closer to La Grange or Pink Hill, we handle those areas too and would be happy to come take a look.
