I started Sullivan Services when I was just 16 years old, naming it after my grandpa's last name because keeping that name alive meant everything to me. Growing up around Wayne County, I saw firsthand how the flat, fertile land along US Highway 117 creates these beautiful large lots that families love but also need serious upkeep. All that rich agricultural soil that makes Wayne County great for farming also means grass grows thick and fast, trees spread wide, and properties can get overgrown in what feels like no time. That stretch running through the county sees a mix of older established homes and newer builds, and both need regular landscaping attention to stay looking sharp.

We handle landscaping for everything from small residential yards to larger rural properties throughout Wayne County. Hardscaping is big out here because so many homes near Goldsboro have clay heavy soil that drains poorly, making patios and walkways essential for usable outdoor space. Our concrete work holds up to the freeze thaw cycles that crack cheaper jobs along Ash Street and similar older neighborhoods. Tree work and tree trimming stay busy year round since the pecan and oak trees that line so many Wayne County properties drop limbs during summer storms rolling in off the coastal plain. Christmas light installation has become a favorite service for families in the Rosewood area who want their homes lit up without climbing ladders in December. Pressure washing and soft washing keep vinyl siding and brick looking fresh, especially important near Highway 70 where road dust settles on everything.

Choosing a landscaper in Wayne County means finding someone who actually knows the area, not a crew driving in from Raleigh who treats your property like just another job. I grew up on these roads, and when Seymour Johnson Air Force Base families need quick turnarounds before PCS moves, I understand that timeline pressure personally. We take pride in being a local business that neighbors recommend to each other at Friday night football games and church on Sunday. If your property sits further out past Wayne County lines, just give us a call and we can make it happen.
